Hi all

Hope this doesn't sound like too much of a stupid question...

The new field that my mare will be living in is a lovely field that is also the first field of cross-country jumps

There will be another couple of horses in with her once she is settled.

Now the question is... Will I be okay to jump her in the field whilst the other horses are grazing, or will I need to move the horses beforehand?

For safety, it is never advisable to ride in a field with loose horses, you may well find that they join in. This could lead to all sorts of problems, including injury to you, your horse or the other horses or even to all of you. Anyway I imagine that the YO would want some kind of notice/booking system for using the x-country course, or part of it.
