Can mercedes sprinter/ Renault type vans have herringbone/ side way travelling space for the horse? Having to see a Renualt lorry *previous post...*, and my dad will only drive a one of these type vans.. HELP!
Any links to lorrys for sale of ^ type with herringbone space for the horse (15.2hh) muchly appriciated.....

you wont find one with the floor low to the ground that will take horses herringbone as ther wheel arches stick up out of the floor inside the van, you can get herribgbone transit types where the floor is higher up, you would have to travel a 15.2 diagonally to fit it in and proabably wouldnt have much room for a second one, but i think thats a better option than a side ramp forward facing transit (as you dont want all the weight on one side with a possiblility of overturning onto the ramp and not being able to get the horses out!, at least with a rear ramp they can scramble out the back should the worst happen)

As previously said, you won't find a van conversion which carries horses herringbone. Why would you want to? Apparently studies have shown that horses travel better when they are facing the rear (read that I write "apparently" here, as one of my horses clearly hasn't read the study on that!)

Mine has always travelled better sideways :)
