Horse lost shoe

My horse lost a shoe last week was shod front only. He isnt lame and I havent rushed to call farrier as isnt bothering him out in field and due a trim next week. Some of the other liveries have complained it isnt good for him as he will be unbalanced. Do you think im doing him more har than good?

It won't be doing any good certainly. If you didn't want to call the farrier out straight away I'd have removed the other shoe.

Plodding to and from field is ok, I wouldn’t be working the horse though.
