I've loved horses all my life. Until Mr Blair became Labour leader I'd voted Tory. But he changed everything. He got my vote and didn't let me down. Best of all he got us the ban which the vast majority of country dwellers had wanted for a very long time. Thank you so much Mr Blair!!!

Oh and please don't forget the rapidly decreasing number of bridleways, soaring insurance costs for equestran establishments, riduculous cost of housing and mounting debt which prevents mosts of us affording horses and even if we do have a horse Heaven forbid if we have an accident cause we recieve service from a strained and under resourced NHS!! Yep you are right thanks a lot Mr Blair.

Yes the Tories made a real good job of running the economy - soaring interest rates, wild currency fluctuations, negative equity, vast Government borrowing... and they weren't too hot running the NHS either. Country folk want Labour back in, there's no doubt about that.

Regardless of that just noticed you have only just joined forum, (in the last half hour) and obviously wanted to have an arguement with such a provactive post. how about actually focusing on horses and what we are all on here for regardless of politics. Look in the lounge under 'what is a Troll' post - i think you have just demonstrated the definition.

If you get all hot and bothered over as innocuous a thread as this perhaps you should refrain from contributing in future. I dont think resorting to silly childish insults is very productive for anyone, do you?

It is not a childish insult. 'Troll' in forum terms means someone who comes on and deliberately posts a thread to wind people up. Coming on a hunting based forum with a thread as vague, all compassing as that, with genralised sweeping statements as 'all country folk want' etc.., etc.. i believe is the definition. No insult at all just a recognised term for the behaviour.

One of the greatest sights this year was that of the rabidly pro-hunting Tory MPs getting onto their feet to deliver an ovation to Mr Blair as he left the Commons for the last time. it fair brought a tear to the eye!

What planet are you from Reginald???? Under Labour there soon will be no countryside - all the townies will be living here and turning it into suburbia. Oh, not forgetting all the immigrants as well.

"Take that as a "wooo ... (then up a half note) ..oooo... (then down a whole note) ...ooooh"

You might try "WooooOOOOOOooooh" next time, might save an explanation and look better. :)

"Lord Blairite by a new name"
You might be right there, he's getting on my t*ts as much as LB does.

Greetings

I've always thought Mr Blair a rather misguided soul. But by the time I decided to offer my moral guidance, he had decided to abdicate. And even I am wary of encroaching upon Mr Brown's territory...the way he looks as if he is about to heave in the middle of a sentence makes me feel uneasy.

Now Mr Cameron, on the other hand...there's a stunningly nice chap! Don't ever let it be said that the Lord is impartial...

"The more I follow the hunting debate the more convinced I`ve become that being left-wing and
and pro-hunting are simply incompatable. [sic]"

Really?

Karl Marx hunted.
