HORSE magazine offer

I was just sitting and remembered that about 2 weeks Ago I receved a phone call from a magazine company offering 3 copies of HORSE mag for £1 then like £2 (or something)after that.

Now I will admit to being a complete and utter muppet in that I now cant find any of the information I wrote down, and it just occured to me that I could well have been scammed as they asked for Bank stuff over the phone.

Anyone else been called recently and offered this?

sounds a little bit dodgy to me.
I work for an equestrian magazine, and deal with subscription offer ect and that is not something we would do.

A lot were phoned it is ok ,you can check out their website and I'm sure it will be fine, I just told them I would do it through the website ,which I did.
I wasn't very happy about the cold calling and never buy anything over the phone, but don't worry too much phone or email them

i waws rang by Your Horse magazine and asked the same thing in december but i said no

was very peed off as i thought i had won the ifor williams from Your Horse live

It might be a good idea to ring your bank and let them know that there might be a problem with your account. They can keep an eye on it and then if there is any fraudulent activity - they might refund you. Not too sure on the protocol for banks on this but thats what I would do.
Hopefully its all above board.

they rang me 2 a few months back. its fine. but make sure you cancel after your 3 mags or they will automatically then take a subscription off you
