right! i am cancelling my subscription to this now, totally fed up with it, same old articles dragged out again and again, but what finally did it was pages and pages of people doing excercises???????????

FGS if i wanted to look at that i would buy a fitness magazine

come on magazines, what's going wrong??????? where are all the real life stories gone?? there used to be loads??? i think i'll spend my money on something more entertaining - i think i'll buy some paint and watch it dry

There are two articles about HHO this month, must admit I don't read much of it.

I too have given up on that mag a bit,i bought it for years but recently it's focusing far too much on rider fitness,i agree that you do have to be fit to compete but most of our time is used fittening the horses,personally i havn't got time to do that but then again i dog walk a lot so i don't need extra fitness.

I haven't bought Horse magazine for years but did this month, just for something else to read. I have to agree, I'm not going to bother in future!

I don't normally buy it as I prefer 'your horse', but of course had to buy it this month as the gorgeous george was in it!

HORSE Magazine started "going down the drain" about a year ago, I stopped buying it then. I regularly buy Your Horse now which I think is probably one of the best equestrian magazines out there at the moment.

Me too Me too, I don't buy it anymore, really dull articles and the front part is just a repetition of H & H. Have given up on Horse and Rider aswell, I really like Your Horese and thats the only one I buy now.

I think this magazine has lost it......unless your into competive riding then don't buy it,I buy Your Horse(They give you a chance to win a horse this month...Yipee!

) and Horse and Rider,I have brought Horse mag from it's first issue...but I'm not bothering anymore....there is nothing in there for me to read anymore unless I'm into jumping,dressage....I like showing you might get the odd bit on that...I like real life stories about normal people,infact all three mags don't do that anymore.....So Sorry 'Horse Mag' you have lost another!

I get Your Horse too, and Horse and Rider if it has something I'm interested in.

Yep, me too.
Have scrapped buying HORSE magazine, ls not a patch on what it was.
Only get Your horse now regularly and Horse and Rider if it looks interesting.

Now see I much prefer Horse to the other Your Horse, Horse and Rider magazines.
But maybe because it is aimed more at the competitive rider (as someone said above?)
Actually enjoyed reading the fitness stuff too, esp as I knew 2 of the candiates.
