With all the buckles and straps still done up
Re clipped my mare last night and when I went to check on her last night she was scratching against the stable wall. Initial through was panic! Colic! But after spending a few mins with her it was obvious she wasn't in pain and was just itchy after being clipped. *although I did keep an eye on her everyhour* So I took her rugs off and gave her another good brush to make sure I hadn't missed any loose hairs before I had rugged her.
Went out this morning to find her stable rug on the floor with all the straps intact and luckily no damage to horse or rug! Good job she had an under rug on as she is fully clipped and would have froze standing in her stable naked!
