Apart from a little kafuffle leaving the yard today, I couldn't be more proud of my boy :)

I've not really been able to test him with other horse, when out by myself, as luckily I've always managed to miss them. However today as I was walking along the road, 2 horses (one ridden, one being led from the other) pulled out about 10m in front of me. To be honest, I was nervous, I had no idea how I would cope and what Ned would do, but I kept going as going another way was not an option.
Ned shouted and shouted and got quite strong, but other than that he was a star. He didn't try and catch up with them, even when they started trotting. So proud :)

On the way home, I had to pass a field of horses and I noticed one looked a bit funny, but I couldn't put my finger on it as it was quite far off. I then realised that it had a hood thingy on and it had slipped over it's eyes!
I knew a friend had kept her horse there last year, so I tried to call her with no luck, so (while riding, never usually use my phone while riding!) I facebooked her. She said she'd get the number from her friend and she'd let me know what happened. Phew, I thought, crisis averted.
WRONG!
Friend messaged me back and said she couldn't get the number, so I'd had to go to the yard myself! Arg! I was in the middle of mucking out by this point, so I had to drop everything and go to the yard. Got there and saw a girl, but she knew nothing about the stables (industrial thing too) so I wandered around like a lost pup before I saw a man and he said he wasn't with the stables, but he knew everyone there so he would sort it. Excellent! Now the crisis was averted. Thank goodness it wasn't more serious, I've seen a horse crash through a fence and do a front flip (horse was ok) because of something similar.
