Horse name help.....

This has probably been done to death but I am in need of a horse name for a chestnut thoroughbred gelding......

He's quite and calm so nothing too laddish or quirky.....

Any ideas........

I normally like 'comedy' old fashioned human names - Norman and Malcolm are my current favourites - but he doesn't sound like he'd suit them. What about Cadno (pronounced Cad - Nor) or Caddy for short. It's Welsh for Fox. I know he's not Welsh but I still like it! Or, if you like human names, Eric or Bert seem a bit more suitable for a gentle, quiet horse....I have no idea why

I used to ride a Chestnut thoroughbred called Merrick but it was shortened to Eric. Also looked after a beautiful chestnut hunter called Hugo. I love the name Hugo. I would have called my son that if I’d been able to have kids 😊
