Horse needs more energy

Hello, ok need help.....I have a 16 hand TB, (well appoloosa registered, but came out a little wrong!) basically he has no energy at many things other then cross country! he is so lazy over show jumps(even though he can do it!) and Dressage his forward motion is nearly well motionless!
However you touch a field with other horses and it s whole differnt story, he prnaces he has amazing bucks he has mastered over the years!
Anyone got any clues on what would be a good feed or supplement to give him??
everything has been checked out and its purely down to laziness...he puts as little effort he can in to most things!

Mine too! Would be interested in responces.

I found i got a little more effort by decreasing the amount of actual time I was working in the school, she just got a little tired of all the circles (some people call it stale)

Have you tried Jump cross??

This could be an old wives' tale but I've heard putting a table spoon of honey into feed energises lazy horses and calms down excitable horses, must have a balancing effect or something! Could be a myth though xx
