My little TB is not right but I just can't put my finger on it :(

TPR normal,
diet hasn't changed,
turnout hasn't changed and workload is the same.

She is becoming a little more picky with her food but still eating her whole meal (just taking a little longer) and hay/haylage is always finished in the morning. Feeling a little sluggish to ride and her coat has gone slightly dull but not coarse so still 'soft' and there is still a bit of a shine to it.
She is fully clipped and I have upped her rugs slightly in case she is cold but is always warm in her armpits when I check her. I know I should get bloods done but can't afford it until the new year.

I might just be being paranoid but it is getting to me a little.

if there isnt anything specific then is just a case of keep her happy and see what she tells you.
Could be feeling down, or have a virus or similar.

Try restore from global herbs to boost her, you can get a trial pack for under £10, its a detox so may well brighten her up.

How old is she? Cushings starts with odd little symptoms. If she's over 15, I'd recommend the ACTH blood test. You can log onto talkaboutcushings.com and get a voucher for £15 off the lab test (usually about £25), just print off and hand to yout vet.

She's 5.

And my vets don't let you pay in instalments any more as too many people have defaulted on their bills. Unfortunately I've just sent £400 on Olly's vets bill and £300 on the car so there is no spare cash right at this minute but will be in Jan.

I'm guessing its the start of a virus or "horsey lurgy"? she is up to date with her jabs (due March).

Mince Pie, Exact same symptons as my mare had! Same age to. Is she out 24/7? My mare is.

My instructor recommended i try dodson and horrell daily vits n mins, its a tenner a pot, need 1 scoop max, dependin on size of horse, and mine has last a month and still quarter of pot left. Mare is perky shiny and energetic again.

Could be same with your, maybe just feeling a bit crappy as lacking in vits n mins.

No she's in at night. She does get the recommended amount of the feed she is on and according to the company (Rowan and Barbary) all the vits/mins she needs will be in the feed. If I add another vit/min supplement will it still help? Can you get the D&H vits and mins from a normal tack shop?

There will be some in the feed but there is no consensus as to what the correct level should be (apart from foals and brood mares). Even if you compare different brands you will find different levels in each. Mineral:vit would definitely be my first instinct. Don't buy the bricks, as they have very little in them. Try to find a good broad spectrum mineral/vit supplement.

Yep i think 99% of all feed/tack shops sell it.

And mine was also on the recommended amount of feed, but i was told "humans eat what we think we should, and yet some of us still take multi vits."

If it helps they reckon my mare should have 40grams of the supp, and i give 30grams as i know she gets some from her feed to.

Have a look and see if theres anything going on in her mouth, like ulcers on tongue, as she is eating albeit slower.
When did she last have her teeth done ?
It may well be a virus thats got her off colour, and she might pick up herself in a few days, as long as her TPR are ok and theres no obvious signs, she might pick up spontaneously. If it went on for any longer than a week, or wasnt showing improvement id get vet out and bloods done

OK will put her on this mineral supp until new year, if no improvement will get vet.

She's not "wrong" per say, just that little niggle that you get that something may be wrong

ETA: teeth done in July.
