It's a long way off (october) but i have just bought tickets to the Horse of the Year Show... Have never been before - any thoughts on the best bits and what to keep an eye out for?
Well if you've booked one of the days where you get access during day and night those are really good value for money. Maybe take a confimation of tickets bought as ours last year had slightly faded print on them which was their fault and they had the cheek to say they looked fake, but it was soon cleared up. If you buy anything bulky like a rug leave it at the stand and pick it up later. Look at the class timetable in advance so you don't miss any classes you want to watch and they do repeat the demonstarations from day at night usually. For popular classes in the caldene ring you might want to get there a little early as there are sometimes no spare seats.
