Two 19 year old women, both are experienced with horses, would like to know if anyone needs any help with their horses, doing tasks, eg: general looking after -including clearing out stables, feeding, grooming, cleaning tack, working & exercising. Will pretty much do anything with horses to help out. We have own transport and own riding gear. You can relax in knowing that you will be leaving your horses in very very capable hands. We do wish to ride the horses in return for the help you will be receiving. We only wanted to make that clear as some owners have previously taken us on & gone away on holidays leaving us to look after their horses, with promises of riding when they return & then instead just dismissing us. Thanks. Please contact us on 07966704176 or 01928787900. Please bear in mind we both work full time, one is term time only.

Thanks, were abouts do you live in cheshire, i live in delamere & my partner lives in winsford. Do you have any other horses because unfortunately i think 14.2hh is going to be a bit too small, my last horse was 15hh and she was quite small for me and my partner is taller than i so i dont think it would be suitable for the horse? Decision is down to where abouts you live, thanks!

Lollen What a pity if you think you're both too tall - lets just say I don't think your travel would be a problem.

3 neds but only the 14.2 that needs riding.

Subject: Re: Horses - delamere

Hi there.

I sent a reply yesterday morning but i am not sure if it sent or not... i am definately still interested!

Its unfortunate that my friend lorraine is too heavy, as my main concern is that i might not have enough time to spend with the horse, so i got in touch with a old horsey friend, steph, and she is interested too. She would also be happy to pay for riding lessons off your instructor to remind her as its also been a while since she rode. She is happy to help me with the poo picking, ragworting, brushing & riding of the horse & any other jobs. I hope this is ok with you. My worries are that i dont want to mess any one around by agreeing to do this & then realising i dont have enough time with a full time job. It would be easier for me & steph to work as a team with the horse. Alternating days that we work with the horse and watching each other ride to see if theres any thing either horse or rider can improve on, whilst not being taught by the instructor. We are very keen & ready to start whenever you are.

I hope that this is ok?? Thank you very much Lauren.

Hi Lollen

I have 2 mares not currently being ridden, kept on a private yard (shared between myself and 2 friends) a couple of miles (hacking distance!) from Delamere Forest. They all live out 24/7, so duties mainly involve grooming and care, with some field maintenance (fencing, harrowing etc.) One's 16.3 Shire X, the other a 14.3 Welsh cob type - my OH who's 6ft has ridden her and doesn't look too big for at all, as she's rather wide and takes up the leg really well.

I just don't have time for them at the moment, as my time is taken up with my daughter and her ponies.

PM me if you'd like to know more.

Nici
