Horse Passports and micropchips.

How much are you paying to get your neds passported and chipped by your Vet? I was told £45 for chip and passport today by my Vet. However, when I had my cat done the microchip only cost £15. Does the passport really cost £30?

My vets charge £15 to supply & insert a microchip (£5 if it is one you supply -eg from breed society) plus £15 to to passport sketch etc

Yes mine was £45 for both........its the word "Horse" that puts an extra 100% on the price :-D
