Horse Pedometers?

It's ok , I havent gone bonkers , I was just thinking how great it would be if I could tell how far paddy had walked in a day just around the paddock! Any invention buffs out there?

Some ingenious way to *safely* attach a cheap pedometer to the inside of a rug?

Probably carry a GPS? I'll be in trouble if I lose it though!

You can get GPS trackers for dogs and cats I think, not sure if you could attach one to a headcollar or something? Not sure how big (or expensive!) they are though.
