hey everybody,
i'm taking a trip to holland this june-july to stay with my boyfriend but at the consequence of leaving my pony in the care of my friend. i'll miss her! I have been looking on the internet for horsey places to visit when in the netherlands, but am at a bit of a loss as where I can actually visit? I'm staying in Bedum but can travel by train/bus/bicycle! haha :P

so if anyone has any ideas please reply, thank you xx

Hiya,

There's a lovely place in Soest called " Het rusthuis voor paarden", meaning basically old fogeys home for horses. It's a lovely place to just have an afternoon walking around. They take on all sorts ranging from old police horses to tiny shetlands. When I visited ( a few years ago ) the oldest pony they had there was 52!!
I think it's run as a charity but am not 100 % sure.
I don't know where Soest is in relation to your boyfriends place but Google will tell you that, and let's face it, nothing's far away in Holland!
Hope you have a good trip!

Oops, just looked on Google maps, you'll be 187 km away, all the way up in Groningen.
Best take your seatsaver if you're going to bike it ;-)
