Well this year has been fab fab fab for me as ever since owning horses I have had 3 things I always wanted to do. One was to take my horse on holiday which I did earlier this year and was fab, second was to ride my horse on the beach which again done this year on hoilday and was the best ever !!

some days when I feel down and fed up I remember that day on the beach cantering through the waves and its cheers me up no end.

Then third dream will happen Saturday ... and that is to go Hunting Im so excited and cant wait.

So this year has been a great year for me in lots of ways.

Does anyone else have dreams/aims they have achieved or hope to soon!!

I had lots of aim 4 this year like urself, 1 to ride on the beach 2, hunt and 3lots of competing in dressage and showjumping. 1st my horse went lame in April suspensory so has been on rest and is now in walk and trot (hopefully canter in Nov). 2nd In June I broke my femur ridng some1 elses horse so my aims changed 2 being able 2 ride again. When having a bad day I think of when I got on my boy the 1st time since my accident and couldnt get him 2 walk on and realise how much i've come on. Next year I want 2 ride on the beach and hunt
 
Me and Zoomy have had a year full of achievements!!!!!!

1. Our first jump
2. Our first sponsored ride
3. Our first holiday
4. Our first dressage
5. Our first rosette!
6. Our first hunt

It's been a great year but we still have lots to acheive next year. With Monty, the only thing I ever wanted to acheive was that he could live out his days free of pain and neglect and be a happier boy......so far so good!
 
I think everyone knows mine lol

To find my perfect horse and if ready do some indoor SJ and DR over winter then summer shows and hunter trials next year
 
My aim was to get a horse, and I have one

My dream is to compete him BE, but I doubt that will happen for a long long time!

I really want to get on the Eventing train, get a youngster, bring it on myself and have the achievement of taking him/her competing for the first time! The horse I have was supposed to be a bit of a schoolmaster but I ended up buying a Dressage horse who hasn't a clue how to jump with a rider on his back - ooops

Well, I have to say that I never thought I'd have a horse/pony that I dare have dreams on but I do now! I'd say that my goals, over the next year are:

1) to survive our first hunt
2) to compete at my first entry level ODE
3) to competitively jump a 3ft track (2'6 has been my limit on other horses since I returned to riding)
4) TO HAVE FUN!

I forgot I also did dressage and survived actually even enjoyed it lol!!
 
my aim was to get back into riding which i did and love it - its honestly the one thing I feel 100% content with and happy. Aim is now to find a nice horse to share and start imporving my riding and a few shows
