Hi Guys,

Haven't been on for ages....well I got Ginge about 6 months ago and I can say we have such a firm bond now. He whinneys as soon as he sees me heading down the hill towards his field and follows me about the field like glue. I must say I just love it as I never thought this woulld happen (he was less than impressed with me I think when I first got him).

As a quiet and mistrusting horse he very rarely canters about, but today I decided to play a bit of tag with him. He bucked, whinneyed and cantered around me then lay down just in front of me for a cuddle. I am so pleased I am fit to burst so sorry for my little gush about my boy. Just wondering if anyone else had nice bonding stories with their horses? I honestly didn't think this would happen with us. Aw

thats amazing! sounds like you 2 are ment for each other!

when i got my boy. 15= years ago! we used to play in the field, id whistle for him and when he saw me he'd gallop up the field after me and id run, when he caught up with me id give him a bite of a carrot then id run again and hide behind bushes or logs and he'd come and find me!

was great fun!
 
Lol, oooh a game of hide n seek tomorrow then. Wow 15 years...oh I hope I have Ginge for at least that length of time. I just never thought I would get this bond so quickly.

He was sooo nervous when I first got him...I think all those hours sitting in his stable reading him the paper may have paid off. And for all those people who said I was mad...well probably I am
 
I cant sleep at night so sometimes I wake up in random spots on the yard during the day. the other day I fell asleep on his back in the afternoon when I vaulted onto him in the field bareback. He was so comfy and just stood there...I woke up I think about 40 mins later.

I have prob bored everyone to tears about Ginge I can't help it...soz everyone!!
 
Mysti plays whats the time mr wolf! :D Creeps up behind you and then you turn around and she spins around and bombs off! :p

And she lays down on you if you sit in her stable ;) she may be little but it hurts! :eek:

Aw its a great feeling isnt it. I was giggling like I was 10 and won the golden ticket to visit willie wonkas chocolate factory!!

How long have you had Dizz? do you know I am still smiling....have been all night.

Aye I think our bond is growing...compared to the nervous head shy terrified of everything boy he was I am so proud of him :) (gawd there I go again..im such a slush bucket when it comes to him!)
