It rather depends on height, confirmation, movement, colour/markings, etc. Some cobs are very smart and some are more workmanlike.

Sorry, I meant to add I don’t know as I don’t keep up with horse prices but someone on here will know. Is he being sold privately or by a dealer and is he in the UK or Ireland?

Are you selling or buying? It all depends if someone wants a big green cob! He's young so your market is limited to experienced riders

Based on when I was looking last autumn, I'd say if he is truly show quality you could get 4-5k for him if you get him going under saddle again- possibly more if he is good quality and a straightforward ride. If he's sold from the field without being brought back into work it will be less as people will be taking a lot more of a gamble on him. But it's very hard to judge without seeing the horse, knowing exactly what he has done etc. Where you are in the country is likely to impact prices too!

If hes 15.3hh now at 3 rising 4 he is likely to grow more and be over height for maxi cob, which should be maximum 15.3
