Horse products on leather furniture

As above, has anyone used leather dressing etc. on their leather furniture?

yes i do all the time...not sure if ur meant to tho! i use it in my car and on my cream sofas!

used saddle soap and lovely honey-scented leather balsam on my scraggy old dried out chesterfield. brought it up beautifully!! would only use it on that sort of plain, harder leather though.

I had a friend who worked in a tack shop and she always told people to be very careful using saddlesoap on coloured leather. Test on a small out of sight patch first as it can bring the die out.

My mum steals my saddlesoap all the time to do her leather sofa (green) it does a fab job, shame about my tack though!!!

OH uses NAF leather food on the couch- brings it up v smart! Just wish he'd do my tack too...
