I am so. Bored. Recently jobless, my new role involves practising being a stay at home mum before the birth of my first in august-ish. However, i'm more Desperate Housewife than Domestic Goddess o:).

Anyway, i've read and re-read my ENTIRE collection of books, including the twilight novels, the run of books by Lauren Weisberger (including devil wears prada), ps i love you, the love hunt, an awful lot of freya north's books, and the autobiographies of pippa funnel, fox pitt, jeny pittman, princess anne and mark cavendish (i am a BIG cav fan, wanted him to win sports personality over that jockey bloke!) but have suddenly found that ive run my stockpile dry.

So anyone have any good suggestions of books to read? i'll read pretty much anything; i've just bought Polo by jilly cooper off ebay, along with a load of the saddle club books from my childhood. Also quite big into tour de france riders (my dad's influence, big cycling family and i'm the only one who got into horses!). Mainly into dressage, sj and eventing, not massively into racing, but i do like biographies as well as fiction.

Suggestions please!! :) x

Can highly recommend the 'Heartland' books, I think there are about 20 of them or so. They are aimed at teenagers but I really enjoyed reading my daughter's. On a different tack, if you like fantasy novels then the David Eddings 'Belgariad' and subsequent series are excellent, I can read them and then immediately start them again, I have read them literally tens and tens of times.
