superb effort by everyone involved, so glad it had a happy ending.

Must have been a very distressing situation for everyone and the horse!

I reckon some of those people posting offensive comments do it just for effect.
They either have small minds or no heart, perhaps both!

One of the comments made reference that you can judge a person by the compassion they have for other animals, reckon that's about it in my view :)

Read it at lunch today! Amazing story, hope owner and horse get over it. As for the usual idiots under the story commenting saying horsey people are crazy etc. These people have no idea what loyalty is!

this happened to me twice in the new forest

once 15 years ago she sunk to her belly i jumped off i was so scared this happened again 2 years ago. you never get a warning just suddenly sink :(
