well basically only recently my hannovarian has started to rest himself on the stable with his bum as if to hold him self up. he is 10 yrs old and is only going out hacking but today i schooled him but he started bronking would this just be excitement or a sign of pain this is the first he has done this!

he has with previous owners pulled his pelvis out but had it checked and was given the ok to start riding he has had a new saddle fitted but was wondering if this could be a sign for a reoccuring pain in his back??

has any one else had this problem??

any info really appreciated

I think I'd have his pelvis xrayed or scanned to check. He may have pulled it or damaged something else. It's better to be on the safe side ring your vet and explain I presume they know your horse and have his details? Have you taken his temperature check all his vitals to see if they are raised at least then you can tell the vet as they may ask if you call them.

Good luck let me know how you get on. My old Hanovarian x had a damaged sacroiliac joint. Eventually he couldn't stand up. Get it checked.
