Student based in Central London missing my horses at home looking out for anyone with a horse that needs a little extra exercise! Preferably someone doesn't want anything too intense i.e. a bit of hacking/schooling maybe occasionally jumping would be nice. (For a small fee/travel costs, I wouldn't mind committing to proper weekly schooling) I'll quite happily lightly exercise your horse for free! I'm an experienced rider 10+ years experience looking for a bit of riding to do to tide me over until I go home to my own horse. I can get pretty much anywhere in greater london providing its within walking distance of a train or bus stop.
(OR if anyone knows if I can hire a horse to ride in one of London's parks that would be good too - because everywhere I've seen online you have to ride with an instructor whereas I'd like to hire a horse for a morning/afternoon and just hack without an instructor)

I'm new to the forum and a bit confused about how to message you privately... So apologies to everyone else for bumping a fairly old thread - I know of a potentially perfect share arrangement... Just drop me a PM if you're still looking! £15 a day to ride as much as you want. Several horses, just North of London, lots of hacking, and easy to access :)

that sounds awesome! I've added you on here to see if that gets any private message options. Sounds perfect though, I'll be back in London at the end of April so I'll definitely want to check that out when I'm back, thankyou!

I still can't - in your profile settings you must have checked the box to not receive private messages. But basically it's a kind of horse share deal so you'd come up and pay to ride but it's only £15 and there are potentially 5-8 horses you can ride, depending on size and experience. The owner is fine with several getting ridden on the day and you can ride for as long as you want as long as there are no clashes. Lots of hacking and all equipment (except boots/hats - there are some hats but no telling if they'll fit!) provided. Kind of the closest thing I can think of to hiring a horse that isn't really expensive - and now the weather is so nice, it'd be lovely. Owner is an ex riding-instructor so can even give lessons if wanted. It's just north of London but I live in London and used to get there by train and bus, so if you don't mind a trip, it's very simple to get to. If you have a car, it's dead easy. I want to give you my email but don't want to paste it publicly...

edit: Actually, here you go: horses@perplexing this is the email set up especially for the ad (not sure if I'm allowed to post the ad here or I'd just link you that!) so you can contact there :)
