Horse rubbing skin ??

my horse keeps rubbing himself - he has two patches one on his hip and one on his bum - hes rubbed it to the point where its white skin ? its not raw or anything and no blood etc hes just taken the top layer of fur off............

what can i use to grow hair back and do you think there is a reason he is doing it ? he is lice free and very healthy !! no sweet itch etc.....

A lot of horses are very itchy at the moment including my own. Think it is the temperature changes and horses coats starting to change.

You could use Camrosa ointment or indeed we have used cornucresine to encourage new hair growth.

My 4 year old is forever itching
