So I'm thinking of going to the sale at sedgemoor next month for there spotty horse and pony sales,
I'm after an averagely nice 3 or 4 yo to break in. doesn't have to be anything special, just sound, have good conformation and nice temp ideally.
I'm wondering what sort of prices things tend to go for as i have limited pennies to spend, and whether it is worth going or it is just going to be lots of animals in a right state i'm going to feel sorry for?!?
has anyone been to any of there sales - what did you think about it?

thanks very much!

Is this the one following the shetland sales? I've been there to the shetland sales, and stayed on for the sales afterwards. I can dig out my catalogues later & see what prices were if that helps? The venue is lovely - loads of easy parking, nice cafe (though a bit pricey), warm indoors bit with stalls to buy from sometimes, nice spacious sales pens. Sales ring can be a bit snug if it's busy!

I went to one of the sale last year and the prices are reasonable. I was worried id feel sorry for some of the horses but most of them all looked healthy and well treated! Hope this helps :)
