horse sclerosis

My friend had x-rays taken of her horse.. It has been diagnosed with sclerosis.. Any one know anything on this ? I did alot of reserche but there is no much there.

hi there, do you know "where" her horse has been diagnosed with this? (it can occur in different breeds in different places - if that makes sense?) - There was a huge study done a few years ago about carpal sclerosis in trotters & other upright US breeds - heres a link -

I thank-you so much Scotia.. I am sure this will help her alot . It is hard when you do not even understand what your horse has. She had a specialiste come down and do x-rays. Her 7 year old horse was diagnosted with sclerosis some were around the knee. She was told by an other vet that horse sclerosis did not even existe. This put a great doubt in her mind. She was going mad.
