as title really... pony had laminitis from feb to june, he is still shod with p3 padding and has been fine ever since with good diet and limited grazing, he was shod on monday and i havent ridden since and farrier didnt call to say anything looked bad, he wont stay in the field since weather has turned crap so just goes out while i muck out and he's waiting to come in, but yesterday he was grazing happily so his owner said she come back and get both horses in after she's had her hair done, well by the time she came back (2hours) he had gotten in such a state, had white foam from head to toe and trashed the field! (little bugger that he is!) so last night i didnt ride thinking he's had enough exercise! and put his magnetic boots on for the evening, didnt ride this morning as school was frozen,so rode this evening and as i got on started walking and thought he felt a little off, so dreaded doing a trot but did and hee felt a little lame, not badly but just not right, sat in trot and had a little head nodding on a bend so thought crap, we've got it again, but had another little trot and he felt a bit better so thought maybe i was being paranoid, so called his owner up to have a look, started trotting and imediatly thought he doesnt feel lame anymore? evan the owner said he looked fine so carried on as normal and didnt feel at all off, so bascially, could it be maybe he slightly pulled something by having a barmy in the field yesterday and the gentle trotting eased it, or could it be the laminitis coming back? i didnt bute him just in case its not and b'cos i thought i want to see what he's like tommoro un buted, if it was the lami would he have come sound so quickly? and he wasnt evan that lame, just slightly, should i be pannicking? thanx for reading this far!!!!!!x
