would welcome comments on shoeing - pictures below; first one is the front foot and the second is the hind. ( horse is supposed to have rolled toes on the fronts)

my query is? is the shoe being put too far back ? and not enough toe taken off?
do the heels look collapsed or collapsing?

just wanted to seek your honest opinion.

From what i can see it looks a well balanced foot. However, i would like the shoes to be a bit longer in the heel. SO not set further back, but just more length in the shape of the shoe

Anyone else?

have decided to contact my farrier of 2 years ago (whom I had used for 20 years plus) for his opinion........

Originally changed old farrier due to increasing prices but now he is the same as my new farrier.....

Will be giving the old farrier the boot....

there is prob a good reason for this he may be wanting to encourage more heel you should ask the one who did it why he has done what he has before sacking him
