I live in France and am coming over to the Gloucestershire area next week to look at horses.
I came over a couple of weeks ago and had a bit of a disasterous trip as most of the horses I lined up to see were sold when I got there and then I had no internet access to see more.
If anyone knows of anything suitable then I am coming over on 30th Sept and I really need to buy myself a new horse.
I am looking for anything that is 15.3 - 17hh, aged between 6 and 11 yrs old, preferably a gelding. I would prefer an ID or IDx type with a bit of substance and bone as I am not a skinny minnie. I want it for general riding out hacking, fun rides, a bit of jumping up to about 2'6'', lots of flat work and schooling.
I had a serious fall last year and was badly injured and so I really need something safe and dependable but still fun. I realise that everyone is looking for the kind of horse I am looking for but I am hoping to be lucky this time.
My budget is £4,500. I am a reasonable rider but since my fall I am not overly confident unless I am on a horse I know and trust. I am willing to travel within 70 miles of north Glos. We are knowledgeable horse keepers and offer a great home for the right horse
