Horse shot in the face!

Poor girl. Hope she recovers soon. And really hope this was an accident as stated.

The loan horse we have just given back apparently got shot in the face some years ago. He was always a bit 'antsy' on shoot days during the season, but was kept in the stable on those days.

That poor horse, could have been so much worse if that's possible, so very close to the eye and they say lucky was not killed. I wish them all the very best and as Boxers said, I do hope that this was an accident and that the animal does recover from this horrid experience.

They shoot across our arena and in our fields and it stresses me right out.
