horse shows and hooves

my horse has 3 black hooves and one white. what is the best thing to use for a show???

black on the black hooves and clear on the white one, or for ease, clear on all 4

Don't make the same mistake as we did and use a very expensive, £12.99 for small pot, (won't name the make,pm me if you want to know) black hoof paint, horrible stuff, wiped off in the grass before we got to the ring and seeped up onto the white hair on the leg, got in touch with the makers and they said to put it on 24hrs before!!! and then again before going into the ring, errrrr I don't think so, like we don't have enough to do! Good old hoof oil in future.
