Horse slashed Herts/Bucks borders

I don't want to be too exact with details because you don't know who browses the internet forums looking for any snippet of info, but the police called in our place today and told me a horse was slashed in a village not too far from our yard, on the Herts/Bucks borders. Think Tring/Aylesbury/Berko areas. We are organising rotas and camp outs to monitor ours.
Apparently horse is very badly hurt, but they are hopeful it will live. I pray it does. This has freaked me as to my knowledge we haven't had this happen so close to us before.

Thanks for the info i am Oxfordshire but good to know, thinking of those involved and praying that no other babies get hurt and the horse heals ok xx
