We put our heart, soul, money, time and effort into our noble steeds and they cant help but buck, rear, run and cause us pain and grief! that doesnt stop the love we have for our horses but everyone has that story they love to tell when it comes to horses!
heres mine, add and share yours!
I rescued my 18 year old TB x and from day one she was accident prone! she had everything from arthritis to back, teeth and hoof issues. she couldnt help but dip into my bank account! she was worth every penny. In March 2012 the unimaginable happened. She broke her leg! x-rays showed she had broke a bone in her leg and with an operation she could be saved but never ridden again. £3,600 later she was home. and with the love and attention she required she was vet checked and fine to be hacked out. i just want to say how proud i was of my girl. she pulled through and made me the happiest owner in the world! Sadly December 2012, she lost her fight with cellulitis and couldnt be saved. It makes me proud to say she was my moody mare and a day doesnt go by where i dont think about how proud she made me! RIP girl x
