What is your favourite?

Field kept pony that likes to sunbathe. Currently slapping copious amounts of sudocrem on pink nose as it stays put but have found the zinc to be quite drying. Have previously tried a fly mask with a long nose but it always ended up on the floor despite plaiting it into his forelock! Needs to last all day as can only apply before I go to work.

I've found the flymask with nose attachment much more effective at protecting my horses pink nose. Never gets any pink bits now.

I used to just buy the soltan 'extreme sports' sun block from boots, it comes in a stick, it factor 50+ and is waterproof/windproof etc etc. worked perfectly for my girl!

On my old pink nosed pony I used to use the highest factor all day long stuff until I found 'the duck bill'. A sun visor/dust protector for their nose that fastens on to a head collar. I got a field safe head collar and bobs ur auntie!

My leopard spot youngster had pink skin everywhere, eyes, face, sheath, te*ticles, basically everywhere that wasnt covered in hair and I used factor 50 coloured childrens sun block, when I applied it he looked like a smurf but it does dry clear.

I bought cheap kids factor 50 day long stuff in TK Maxx... it really works :), but unfortunately I didn't really read the bottle correctly about it being a 'Fun Kids' one, and its turned her nose a rather fetching turquoise blue colour :o after a couple of days she started giving me dirty looks since I kept laughing at her :D. So any other factor 50 should do the job!

Thanks, going to give this a whirl.

I put it on first thing and it does all day. It is like a block you need a very little the size of a thumb nail covers the whole of the coloured horses nose and the whole of his nose is pink.
Not a sign of a burn and it has been really sunny the last week

Sudocreme for the boys half pink bit, the cob won't let me near her with any cream, she would kill you first before letting you apply anything to her very pink face :o:eek:

She wears a full face mask instead :)
