I bought a youngster last year, backed him and have been bringing him on slowly this summer. He is now at a stage where he needs lots of time and training to get him riding well. I have just got a new job which will keep me from spending the time he needs. I am now thinking about selling him on to someone who has the time, and knowledge, to get him on track. I would like to have something that I have ride out on the weekends and a couple of days during the week. Is there such a thing as horse swapping? Does anyone know whether its worth it or should I just sell and buy in the usual way? Where should I go? Any advice?

i did a swap on horseswap (mentioned above) i swaped my 12hh welsh x shetland mare kiddies pony for an unbroken 14.2 registered welsh cob it is soo hard to sell in this current climate. the coblet is now broken in so i have what i wanted (a second riding horse) and the other lady has a pony for her kids. I didnt think anyone would want to swap my little mare for a bigger horse but you never know till you try. I put mine up for sale in the usual way at the same time.
