Hey all :)

As I lost my beloved Alfie nearly a month ago, I'd like to have a tattoo to remember him by so I never ever forget him. I don't want something massive like something small but means something, perhaps a silloette of a horse :)

Anyone else have any horse related tattoos?

I have my girls name tatooed on my wrist with a small heart joine donto the alst letter. I love it I think its very pretty and small enough for me to cover up, but big enough for people to see. I had mine done before I lost her, I don't think I would ahve been able to have it after so I'm glad!!
 
Sorry for your loss.....I have a small horses head on my lower ankle bone / side of foot. Small and very simple and I love it. We await a pic of whatever u choose.
 
Hello, i too lost my mare in october i loved her to bits. I have a horse shoe on my wrist with two little butterflies ( one for Zo and one for Millie) i now have Bess so i need to add a third one, i had that done when she was with me. I have since been back to the tattoo shop to discusss getting another one now she's gone, my tattoo lady loves doing portraits especially animals so i'm going to dig out the best photo i've got and go for it. Let me know what you decide on.
 
This is mine. It's on my shoulder. I have wanted it since I was about 15 ever since I got my baby boy, who is an Irish cob. It reminds me of him as he has a fiery personality and floats when he moves.

I want a horseshoe on my ankle to remember a horse in a million we lost last Feb, also a paw print to remember my lovely old GSD I lost last year, I still think of them every day.
PS I am 56 and they will be my first and only tattoos
 
Sorry about your loss. It is always good to have something.

I kept some mane hair and made it into a bracelet when my old horse was still alive.
I do not use it now, but can hold it occasionally.

You could have his show name made into a doodlegram for the tattooist to copy.
I have done a few that have been made into tattoos, but no photos since I lost my old computer.

I have my milieu's name surrounded ny cherry blossom - because I lost him in spring and they represent the beauty and brevity of life. On the anniversary of losing him I plan to add some forget me nots.
So sorry for your loss. I really felt my tattoo helped me with my grieving x
 
I had my whole back done, black & white at the bottom with a gravestone and his name and dates, then steps up my spine to Rainbow Bridge all done in colour
 
I have a horse on my shoulder. I had it done years ago and don't like it really as it reminds me of my ex so getting a cover up done when I have some pennies. Thinking of getting a potrait of Chester.
