Horse that has had ulcers - feeding carrots?

As above, yes or no? Have read that carrots are low in starch and understand horse that has had ulcers should have low starch diet.

So are carrots - say 5 or 6 a day - bad for a horse that has had ulcers?

I wouldn't give any horse 5 or 6 carrots a day, ulcers or not! Like Hedwards has already said they are very high in sugar, my lot get one a day in with their feeds, but no more
