Just wondered if anyone has had this suddenly with their horse? He's booked in to see a vet & osteo on 2nd April and we got a chiro to look at him a few weeks back as he wAs very tetchy.. The tetchiness has almost totally gone but he's still very unhappy on the right rein.. Would rather go left even free schooled. Ears go back on right rein in trot.. Will go back to trot when asked to canter.. Has anyone had this? What was the cause? Thanks

He is definately trying to tell you something.

Chiro and Osteo is good, but could be teeth? It appears mine had an extra tooth that the dentist had missed that was causing him problems. If you don't have any good answers at first, suggest you get the vet and ask for a teeth/eye etc, etc check. Hopefully something simple.

The osteo he is booked in with is also an equine vet so should get everything checked out. His teeth were done by dentist about 8-12 weeks ago, nothing found but a couple of sharp edges.

Already being rested.. Due to vets on 2nd April. Happy in himself, trots down to his field in the morning, if put I the school loose, will roll, play, etc.
