I am looking into the possibility of getting myself a horse trailer, however as I will only be using it once or twice a month ish and for emergencies, which i have had a few of this year already :-( , I would like to hire it out to pay for maintenance etc and anything extra will be a bonus (records will be kept for tax purposes for those about to point this out).
I have had a good read through the posts on here already, I have somewhere suitable to store the trailer which is secure and is out of view from the road and someone lives on site 24/7.
I am not fussed about the hassle of meeting people to sort out collecting the trailer, I only work part time so can work around this easily and can offer delivery of the trailer if needs be.
My main concern is covering myself for theft. I am aware that I would need an insurance policy covering for Hire and Reward, but as yet, have only come across policies for horse lorries and not trailers. Can anybody who hires out their trailer point me in the direction of a company that does provide this sort of cover?
