Horse Trailer Insurance

Can anyone recommend an insurer who covers trailers and doesn't just do trailer insurance as an add on?

I'm with SEIB and was horrifed by their renewal quote at nearly £100 more than I paid last year, with no claims or problems!!

I've also tried NFU but they only do it as an add on.

blimey , i'm with SEIB too & thought their premiums were reasonable! E&L do stand alone trailer policies but you may not want to go there!!

You have to look at your policy closely as I am insured with SEIB and my trailer is covered if someone hits it or if i hit someone I also have break down and recovery for me and neddy have a look as a lot of insurance companies do not cover recover and it is only if the thing gets knicked

Yes, my policy was £50 cheaper than with Petplan. Can't remember what they are called at the moment, so will get back to you!

Stoneways do stand alone trailer insurance, can't remember how much it is, sorry.
