Hi, i am looking for someone to come to my yard and help with my youngster 3/4 times a week to help bring him on with hacking/schooling and to help iron out a few behavioural issues..therefore i need someone very experienced and no nonsense attitude ( but fair ) My trouble is I dont know where to advertise without attracting all the joy riders..
If anybody knows of anyone in the Kings Lynn Norfolk area pls pls let me know - i would be so grateful!!

Don't know if he's too far south for you but Barry from Little Downham Equestrian did a superb job of starting my little mare. He's very thoughtful about how he deals with issues and is very calm but firm. He's also dealt with horses for a couple of other forum members.

thankyou, im not to sure where that is but will have a look on map as i dont think it is too far... do you know if he comes out to you as i am particularly looking for someone who will come out to me rather than sending him away.

Barry used to come out to work with my girl five or six times a week, but that was before he had his own yard so whether he'd be able to do that nowadays I don't know but it's worth asking him.

There is Elise who has a yard at Beachamwell and I think will travel. I have often seen her at small hunter trials/shows bringing on other young horses. If you PM me I will find out her surname and number.

2nd Barry he done a fab job with my quirky youngster and a few friends have since used and been extremely happy with the results
I may be sending a new mare there in the spring.
not sure he will come out though as he has eventers of his own to ride.
you can ask
maybe you can combine a visit to me if he wants to make it worth his while .
He really is a lovely person and is really kind to the horses and used to work with problem horses so knows his stuff

have just read your other post and thought it was a unbacked youngster but he is 5 so maybe you just want a good instructor
Janice Young nr sandringham is very good but she doesnt ride them, she was a top dressage rider and judges too.

If not can ask Janice tomorrow am at a lesson with her so let me know what sort of instructor you are looking for and i'll ask around .
