Horse transport from lowestoft to bath

Can anyone help ?
One of the members of h and h is looking for horsebox or transport company to move the little coloured in my siggie from lowestoft to bath.She has been quoted ridiculous prices and it might mean the loan to buy falls through.
Can anyone recommend company or possibly like to earn extra xmas cash

With diesel prices standing at 1.14 a litre and rising I would not think the prices quoted are that bad. Would expect to pay around £350+vat for a shared load for that sort of distance tbvh

Legal and registered transporters on there

VOSA are making checks on horseboxes as reported in HH so anyone 'making extra cash on the side' will probably end up with their lorry impounded.

Why not self drive?
