Have seen a horse that ticks all the boxes but it is in Essex & I am in Lancashire 245 miles away. Does anyone know how much it might cost to get said horse transported that distance & can you recommend a super transporter?

I've usually had quotes for similar journeys from anywhere in the region of £220 right up to silly money like £600- depending on where the transporters are that week/whether it a single load etc.

I recommend Boothroyden. I've used them a few times and they've always been good with the horses.

Would only ever use Peter Boothroyden I've used them for over 10 years for long and short distances they are always the most competitively priced too. He's based in Manchester.

Thank you people. When I googled Horse Transporters it was Boothroyden I liked the look of. Am taking a trip down to try horse. Fingers crossed!

It would be cheaper to hire a small box and drive it yourself! I done a 9hr round trip to get my youngster and it cost me £100 for the box and £105 or sumit for the diesel! so was much cheaper than getting someone to do it for me!
