I have a wamblood X yearling filly who was due to come home last Saturday after a show. The trailer arrived, she was loaded ( both partitions in ) and crossed tied. My friend expressed her concern that she might get her head under the breast bar. This did indeed happen, thankfully, before she had set off and the filly had to be released from under the breast bar. The filly, bruised but hope OK is still waiting to come home, she is currently in the South and I am in Anglia this is not only inconvenient for my friend but also more expense for me.
The transpoter (fully registered, transports to Europe etc) is only prepared to give me a partial refund. Any comments please
Despite her ordeal she loaded straight away back on to my friends lorry.
