Nitty can come home tomorrow but my friend can't pick her up until Thursday. Because I am very impatient I was wondering if anyone knew of a firm around me who might be able to get her tomorrow afternoon.

Also, any rough idea on cost? From the vets to mine is about three miles. She could walk if she weren't broken!

No. Definitely cheaper to get a transporter I think. I could just be patient and wait lol. The vet's are happy to hang on to her I just want her hoooome.

I can see why you are impatient I would be. Theres quite a few in newmarket I think rent right in newmarket do transport as well as hire.

Ta pet. Will have a google. I did think if there was anything on I could hire, pick her up and then take BH out but can't find anything tomorrow we can do. I'm not sure he's up to senior BSJA starting at BN. Think he'd throw a fit!

She'll have to stay until Thursday. It's going to cost a bomb otherwise. I'll have to sell BH so I can buy a trailer. Horse transport is prohibitive otherwise.

Anyone want a big brown knobber horse? I can do you a special deal? :D

Oop, And thank V. That's great. Will have a look. Have sort of resigned myself to just leaving her there til Thursday. A nights livery and a free lift is definitely going to be less money than getting her picked up.

JESS!!!!

Are you there!

I am bringing Betsy O (my lorry) past Cambridge tomorrow pm on her way for her test appt. What time does Nits need picking up because I will be coming past and can get her if the time suits. Have to be in Ware for 5pm so 3 to 3.30ish best for me I suppose. Would be a no cost option:)

*bump* So JT sees other JT's post! :D

For what it's worth, Jesstickle, I should be coming into some funds next Jan, which I intend to spend on a box, so hopefully next year I shall be able to help you out with lifts :)

We used rent right to move NAS upto Norfolk... Was really good. But heard today they aren't hiring the 3.5t anymore because the insurance is too high! Shame.

j_t you crazy, mad woman! Have I missed my chance. Have replied to you on fb and the other place. I went to the horsepital and left my desk early. I really should get a smart phone so that I know when people have messaged me on face book.

Puppy, I too am due some funds, hopefully by next year I will be mobile for myself. We can go to the beach, it'll be great ( I have this thing about the beach)

Ha! Me too! One of the main things I can't wait to do once I get a horsebox :)

Hope Nitty has a safe trip home :)

Just remember your 12 pound coins ladies!

We love the beach too and I'm a crap mum so I never remember and think of things that C would like to do with the horses rather than bashing round in circles. Perhaps when Betsy is tested I'll get off my rear and remember to take her.

Flynn is a big wuss and is scared of the waves and has to make A stand between him and them, even when he's in the water. However, if we come across a flock of seagulls on the beach they are even more scary than the waves and so he makes his way round to the other side of A so she is now nearest the seagulls and he can hide from them behind her, even though he's now nearest the waves.

LOL! I'll start saving now :p and we can all meet at the beach next summer

Not overly surprised to hear that F finds it all a bit scary... I mean, he does spook at his own reflection in the mirror

Oh if theres a cambs folk trip to the beach count me and the yellow one in. I was going to go on my birthday but he was lame so we couldnt :(.

You know A is a big sensible girl . . . she doesn't spook at her reflection in a mirror, she spooks at the sunlight reflected from the mirror on the sand! And then jumps it.

LOL! I'll take your word for that, given there wasn't a lot of sun to be found when I rode her ;)

But dh you won't be a Cambridge person by then. You can still come though :)

I've never ridden on the beach. Despite the fact I lived in Norfolk for all my formative riding years.

I don't suppose BH would mind the sea too much. He doesn't really mind very much. Or not for long anyway.

How many of us from Cambridgeshire are there on here. Blooming loads. We'll look a right sight :D
