Can I please have recommendation for a reputable transporter than preferably comes over Belfast-Liverpool? I have been messed around by one company for a week now and I urgently need other options. Mullins only go via Dublin.

We used ET for a mare we sold to England. I would say they are fine if your horse is easy going and not going to stress. Horse we sent wasn’t a great traveller (worse in a trailer and better in the lorry) and when she was picked up by the first box (2 horse van with 2 horse trailer on back) to go to their base before the boat the guy driving didn’t really care and shrugged it off putting her in the trailer even though the van was empty. He was partly annoyed because he had to unhitch the trailer to get round which didn’t help.
We could hear her stumbling as he drove out of our lane. When she arrived with the buyer the following day she was last horse on their big lorry (obviously can’t be helped if that’s their route) and her legs and sides were marked from stumbling in the box.
Thankfully I had taken videos of her the morning she left us as the buyer questioned if her marks had happened prior to travelling.

I’m sure they would be fine for an easier horse but I don’t think I would personally recommend.
