People who use them regularly.

How often do horses go on them?
How long for?
And..
Do they have a rug/boots on?

Just wondering really, as am bored babysitting

At my old yard, only if not turned out. I put schooling boots on as she does brush on the hind legs.

No rugs.

It will be the same at the new yard I'm moving to, my current yard doesn't have a walker.

Mine go on for anything upto an hour depending on how fit they need to be about every 2nd day, change the direction every time. No boots or rugs but i dont put them on if its wet or very cold when their clipped out incase they get a chill.

I've just got mine and it will be up in the next week (finally yay). I should think my lot will go on without rugs or boots most of the time, although I might put boots on the ones that overreach or brush.

Can't wait to use it!

Ty wasn't allowed on one - due to his blindness he would try and turn around and ending up cut all over his face....silly horse!

Think 15 mins a day is the norm....

Ours go on for 1 hour generally 4-5 times a week
No boots after first couple of times and our walker is covered so no need for rugs.

The younger/smaller ones have less time on it, a couple just do 10 mins each way to loosen them up before work

I have had mine since January now and i do :

1 hour a day (30 mins each way)
No boots
No rugs, unless very cold when they have a fleece or LW stable on

then if i am riding that night
they go on the walker and then i tack them up on there and then can just get on and trot then when i have finshed they go back on there.
