hi,
one of my horses (gypsy cob) has recently had shoes removed and is a little footsore. she walks down hills weirdly, she moves the legs on either side simultaneously. no, bad description! for example, she moves the right fore and hind at the same time, then the left fore and hind at the same time. is this a gypsy cob thing, or does she have some leg/foot problem?

She is sore somewhere, my old mare did this when her arthritis played her up and was one of the signs that I used as a flag to give her a couple of bute for a few days.

Would be worth getting back checked as well.

Thats called pacing. Possibly foot sore, although sometimes reluctance at walking downhills can be a sign of ligament issues
