We have a new pony & he always (well most times) pees when ridden.. Whether in the ménage or out hacking. He doesn't seem to wee really often or anything but just when ridden. He has no problem going and it's normal colour. His stable isn't soaked in the morning or anything like that and he isn't drinking loads and loads of water,, just an average amount for a pony. He doesn't do it when being lunged. Anyone got a horse or pony that does this and is it anything to be concerned about?

Mine always wees in the school - nice deep sand so no 'splash-back'!! He does go in the stable as well, but I know he prefers it when there's no hard floor! ;)

I have the opposite problem! Leo has never in the 6 months I've had him weed or pooed in the school and only poos on hacks occasionally!

It is when they do it in front of a judge at a regional show!

Oh, and also in front of a load of builders... you do NOT want to know what they all said.

Depends on the horse. SecA which daughter used to ride would only wee in her own field or in the trailer (I guess she felt safe there) , current pony never wees when ridden, and I can tell he dislikes weeing in the trailer (has done once on a long day out, think by then he was desperate)
